The thesis exam that has been presented is entitled “Analysis of the Implementation of Basic Feasibility in the Pindang Fish Poklahsar as an Effort to Improve the Quality of Fishery Products in Pekalongan Regency”. Based on the results of the thesis research, the level of implementation of the basic feasibility of processing in the Pindang Fish Processing Unit (UPI) in Pekalongan Regency still does not meet the standards set by PERMEN-KP Number 17 of 2019. The low suitability value indicates that the UPI does not yet have the facilities, infrastructure, and sufficient competency to meet basic eligibility requirements. The results of quality and safety testing show that pindang laying fish products at UPI A and UPI B have sensory values, Total Plate Number (ALT), Escherichia coli contamination, salt, histamine, lead (Pb) contamination, and Mercury (Hg) contamination. has complied with SNI requirements, while the parameters for water content, cadmium (Cd) contamination and Arsenic (As) contamination exceed the SNI standard limits. The strategy for developing the quality of pindang fish products at the Poklahsar in Pekalongan Regency, then continued with QSPM analysis to obtain the following strategy priority sequence: optimizing assistance by fisheries instructors, strengthening the Poklahsar for business development and independence, training to increase processor competency in basic feasibility compliance, improving service and product quality for customer satisfaction, providing cold storage in processing centers to make it easier for processors to find and store raw materials and maintain the fish cold chain, building collaboration with various parties to increase the capacity of processors.
