Thesis examination by sister Nur Rizki Sari on Wednesday, March 27 2024 at 14.00-16.00 WIB online (offline) in Building J Room 304 FPIK Undip. The thesis examination is the final stage in completing studies in the Master’s Program which has been through various ups and downs to reach this stage.

The thesis exam that has been presented is entitled “Analysis of Tuna Fishing Potential Zones (Thunnus spp.) in WPPNRI 572 Based on Sub-Surface Temperature”. Based on the research results, the condition of tuna fisheries in WPPNRI 572 based on production data obtained from PPS Bungus is included in the not overfished and not subject to overfishing category. The distribution pattern of catch of yellowfin tuna is spread throughout the year in the inner and outer waters of the Mentawai Islands, while the distribution pattern of catch of tuna is not caught throughout the year. The distribution of potential zones for tuna (Thunnus spp.) fishing areas in WPPNRI 572 is based on the ECDF method using an algorithm with the highest R2 value which is visualized in 3 dimensions, where the visualization presents catch results that penetrate the temperature distribution showing that the temperature is
is the existence of an optimum temperature for catching tuna that is different in each season.
