The Korea-Indonesia Integrated Marine Fisheries Technology Training Center (KIOTEC) is an Official Development Assistance (ODA) project funded by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Korea and initiated by the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia. KIOTEC is implemented by the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST) and supported by the Maritime and Fisheries Human Resources Extension and Development Agency (BPPSDM-KP) on behalf of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia. To ensure smooth operations, the Korea-Indonesia Marine Technology Cooperation Research Center (MTCRC) acts as the official implementing body on behalf of the two countries.
On Thursday, August 15 2024 at the Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel, Jakarta, a Presentation Seminar for Students Recipient of the ODA KIOTEC Project Scholarship (master’s and doctoral level) was held. This presentation seminar activity is a continuation of the Presentation Seminar for Master Level Scholarship Recipients for the ODA KIOTEC Project which was held last Thursday – Friday (8 – 9 August 2024), where it was held in conjunction with the presentation seminar activity for doctoral level students from the ODA KIOTEC scholarship program.
Based on the previous Presentation Seminar activities, 10 students were selected as a result of the panelist assessment from a total of 40 participants. Brother Dion Saputra from the Master of Water Resources Management was among the selected students from the master’s and doctoral level of the “Korea Invited Doctoral Expert Course” program to attend and present research progress and theses.
The purpose of this activity is to provide information for academic exchange, input from experts, and recognition of outstanding achievements, celebrating the continued success of the ODA KIOTEC Scholarship program.
