Nur Alfianto’s thesis examination was held online via the Zoom Meeting platform on Friday, September 22 2023 at 13.00-15.00. Nur Alfianto has been a student of the Aquatic Resources Management Master’s Program since 2021. The thesis examination is the final stage in completing studies in the Master’s Program which has gone through various ups and downs to reach this stage.
The thesis examination that has been presented is entitled “Analysis of the Policy for Issuing Certificates of Worthiness for Large Pelagic Purse Trawlers at the Nizam Zachman Ocean Fishing Port”. Based on the results of the research, the implementation of the seaworthiness certificate policy for large pelagic purse seiner vessels in the fishability aspect at the Nizam Zachman PPS is still not optimal, based on ship owners’ understanding of the rules is still low, the number of human resources is classified as insufficient and the process is still not integrated. Priority alternative policy implementation strategies are the communication aspect to improve the quality of delivery of policy information, the position aspect in the government’s attitude and policy targets for policy implementation, the resource aspect requiring sufficient feasibility inspection officers who have expertise in reviewing supporting facilities and covering them, then bureaucracy with supervisors for rules for implementing sustainable policies.

Frida Purwanti, M.Sc (as Examiner II) and Dr. Aninditia Sabdaningsih, S.Si., M.Si (as Head of Study Program). Based on the explanation that has been given, Brother Nur Alfianto was declared able to PASS with minor revisions (not changing the concept but changing or improving the format).
