The thesis defense by Mr. Arif Gunarso will take place on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 09:00 to 11:00 WIB in person at Building J305 FPIK Undip. He is a student of the Master’s Program in Fisheries Resource Management for the year 2023 as a recipient of the KKP Scholarship. The thesis defense marks the completion of the academic journey in the Master’s Program, which has been traversed with various joys and sorrows to reach this stage. The thesis presented is titled “Financial Analysis and Sustainability of Vannamei Shrimp Farming (Litopenaeus vannamei Boone, 1931) Millennial (Millennial Shrimp Farm/MSF) at BBPBAP Jepara”. Based on the research results, the analysis of vannamei shrimp farming with the MSF system of 20 meters using 10 pond units shows a profit per year. This venture can be considered viable with a break-even point of 4,210 kg, while the production achieved reaches 13,134 kg per year. Based on the sensitivity level of the business, entrepreneurs using the Millennial Shrimp Farming (MSF) scheme have a high level of business sensitivity due to fluctuations in feed prices and revenue uncertainty. However, if both conditions change simultaneously, the business will become very sensitive but still financially viable. The sustainability index value based on ecological, economic, social, technological, and legal & institutional domains in the vannamei shrimp farming business at the BBPBAP Jepara Millennial Pond is in a very sustainable condition.
