Asqita Rakhma Ashari’s thesis exam was held offline on Monday, February 10 2025 in Building J Room 304 FPIK Undip at 09.00-11.00 WIB. The thesis examination is the final stage of the Master’s study period in the Aquatic Resources Management Study Program which goes through all the ups and downs.

Thesis examination entitled “Spatial Analysis and Modeling of Oil Spill Trajectories Using Sentinel-1A SAR Imagery in Bintan Waters, Riau Islands” which in its presentation explains that all oil spills in the grid have a db value range between -15-(-30). This range of values ​​is grouped into 3 types of oil spill, namely the diesel type with a db value between -15-(-20) with a total of 491 data. Light crude type with a db value between -20-(-25) with a total of 118,495 data. Medium crude oil type with db value between -25-(-30) with 10 data. The oil spill moves towards the southeast, south and southwest due to the influence of surface currents and surface winds. The concentration of chlorophyll-a in the oil spill area has decreased over time. The decrease in chlorophyll-a concentration in the oil spill area from March 23 2023 to March 26 2023 was 0.002 – 0.02 mg/m3. The decrease in chlorophyll-a concentration in the oil spill area from March 26 2023 to March 30 2023 was 0.016 – 0.027 mg/m3.
